Community, Connection, Counseling
“All of us, at some time or other, need help. Whether we’re giving or receiving help...that’s one of the things that connects
us as neighbors.” Mr. Rogers
TouchStone was founded in 2010 by Dr. Erikya Creydt (PsyD/ M.A./Licensed Psychologist/Director of Behavioral Health). Dr. Creydt began her private practice in Blaine, Washington with the conviction that everyone can benefit from connection when facing life's challenges.
Thirteen years later, the TouchStone Counseling practice has expanded its scope to connect and serve the broader Whatcom County community with a second office in Ferndale, Washington as well as a Youth Crisis Intensive Outpatient Center, opened in August 2023.
TouchStone is licensed to provide counseling services to any person across Washington State through Telehealth appointments. In an effort to reach those seeking professional help, TouchStone accepts all forms of insurance.
Our experienced and licensed counselors treat a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, anger management, sexual abuse, eating issues, stress, grief, self-injury, family conflict, parenting issues, academic underachievement, disability, oppositional defiance, relationships, low self-esteem, insomnia/sleep issues, suicidal ideation, and trauma.
Our Mission is to support our community by helping individuals, couples, and families explore paths to heal, connect, and grow through counseling.
We provide a caring and safe space for sharing, and we use customized treatment with proven therapeutic techniques.
